PROTOCOL DOCUMENTATION

Secure Access Guide

A comprehensive, step-by-step technical manual for navigating the Nexus Market Onion architecture. Focus on cryptography, network hygiene, and account security.

Before You Begin

Accessing hidden services on the Tor network requires strict adherence to security protocols to maintain anonymity and data integrity. This guide assumes you have basic familiarity with the Tor Browser and PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption standards. All actions described here are for research and educational purposes.

01 The Environment

Do not use standard browsers like Chrome or Firefox. You must use the Tor Browser obtained directly from the Tor Project.

  • Download the authentic Tor Browser. Verify the signature of the installer.
  • Open Tor Browser Settings -> Privacy & Security.
  • Set Security Level to "Safer" or "Safest". This disables JavaScript on non-HTTPS sites and prevents many exploit vectors.

02 Access & Verification

Only use verified .onion mirrors. Man-in-the-middle attacks are common. Below is a cryptographically verified entry point.

Verification Concept: When you land on the login page, the server will provide a challenge message signed with its PGP key. You must verify this signature against the public key you already possess to ensure you are not on a phishing site.

03 Account Security & Mnemonic

Critical Step: Examples of Mnemonics

Upon registration, Nexus Market will generate a Mnemonic Seed Phrase (e.g., "apple river car blue...").

WARNING: You MUST save this phrase offline immediately. It is the ONLY way to recover your account if you lose your password. Nexus Market administrators cannot reset passwords for you.

04 PGP & 2FA Setup

Never communicate in plaintext. PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) allows you to encrypt messages so only the intended recipient can read them.

  1. Generate your own Key Pair (Public/Private) using Kleopatra or GPG.
  2. Navigate to User Settings on Nexus Market.
  3. Paste your Public Key into the profile.
  4. Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA).

*With 2FA enabled, login attempts will present a PGP-encrypted message that you must decrypt to reveal the login code.

05 Wallet & Transaction Logic

Bitcoin (BTC)

Standard blockchain. Public ledger. Analysis requires coin mixing for privacy.

Monero (XMR)

Privacy-centric. Ring signatures obscure sender, receiver, and amount. Recommended for research.

To fund the account, navigate to the "Wallet" tab. A unique deposit address will be generated. Send funds and wait for blockchain confirmations (usually 2-3 for BTC, 10 for XMR).

Escrow System: Funds are held by the market service until the transaction order is finalized. Never finalize early (FE) unless the counterparty has an established trust rating.

Proceed with Caution

Security is not a product, it is a process. Always verify PGP signatures and never share your private keys or mnemonic phrases.
